The Hampton Social stands out with its coastal-inspired cuisine and unique specialty in hand-crafted cocktails. The location I visited is off International Drive(Pointe Orlando) in Orlando, FL. Their other locations can be found here: The Hampton Social Locations. I arrived at the restaurant around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so I had no problem asking the hostess if I could sit close enough to feel outside without sitting out. I felt as though I had the perfect table with a relaxing view.
Food
The weather cooperated, and I felt the breeze through the open windows while sipping H-Rosé and perusing their menu. Their menu includes everything from grilled octopus to skirt steak and pizza! The appetizer of my choosing was the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta. I decided not to fill up on the bruschetta and finish my Lobster Roll with a side of Truffle Fries, which I then ordered. When I finished my meal, I decided to try The Coastal Experience specialty cocktail instead of dessert. The cocktail consisted of rum, passoã passion fruit, beets, lemon, and star fruit. I highly recommend The Coastal Experience if you prefer your drinks to be sweeter.
Review
Price-wise, it’s not a place I suggest “popping” into if you’re not ready to spend a little more money on your lunch experience, as the total cost of my ticket quickly came to $100. The dress code is business casual, and the ambiance gives off a light, airy, positive vibe. The staff was amicable and attentive, frequently asking if I needed anything. I enjoyed my solo lunch date and highly recommend The Hampton Social when visiting Orlando. Valet parking is outside the restaurant, or you can park in a parking garage within walking distance.
